One:  Holy God

All:     Fount of all life and love,

One:  Sacred Source of this good earth and its good fruits

All:     That nourish us, body, heart, mind, and soul:

One:  We gather in gratitude for the blessings

All:     You have poured out upon this dear community of faith

One:  Given through the self-giving love of all those

All:     Who have helped this church flourish through the years

One:  For the sake of knowing and sharing

All:     Your life-transforming Love through Christ Jesus.

One:  We pray that you may continue to bless us and countless others

All:     Through the gift of our renovated kitchen,

One:  Dedicated to the memory and legacy

All:     Of our dearly departed Judy Johnston,

One:  Who gave to so many through the blessings of her renowned hospitality.

All:     May this kitchen be a hearth for love

One:  For all who enter this space.

All:     May we throw wide the doors and windows

One:  To spread the inviting aromas of Your holy blessings

All:     As we seek to share with any and all

One:  The greater belonging and deeper nourishment we find

All:     As beloved children of You, O Holy God.   In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen
